Graphics Galore: Octopus Fish Catcher Extraordinaire!
OctoShape Matchup Adventure – Dive into an interactive world of shape recognition! This game lets kids step into the octopus's shoes as they catch colorful fish and learn shapes through observation and touch. With four soft and flexible tentacles, players match the octopus's tentacle shapes to corresponding holes in the box, illuminating a matching fish each time!
After successfully linking the circuit through the breadboard and illuminating the LED light, our team embarked on a journey of inspiration, drawing from the logical connections and fundamental structure of the circuit.
Among the proposals, we selected Zi Ai's design concept. She found inspiration in the circuit's lines, likening them to the limbs of creatures, particularly octopuses and spiders. We envisioned transforming these creature-like antennae into integral switch components, where their contact with an object would trigger LED illumination. This marked the inception of our design journey.
Given that octopuses possess eight legs, our team's initial endeavor involved illuminating eight LED lights, which served as the foundation for our prototype.

Returning to our central concept of an octopus fishing game, we've engaged in brainstorming to conceive a novel idea aimed at serving as an educational instrument to foster children's cognitive development, all the while delivering entertainment. To enhance this concept, we've undertaken further refinement by leveraging a variety of materials including paper, cardboard, aluminum foil, and wire.
