Previously, our team embarked on two projects inspired by nature. Our last endeavor, titled "The Nap of Hard Worker," creatively utilized flashlights for interactive experiences. However, we've learned that true interaction should be as natural and heartfelt as a touch. Authentic emotions and experiences are best unlocked through tactile engagement. Building on this insight, we aim to enhance our previous project by making touch the central element. This will serve as the gateway for people to deeply connect with the essence of nature.
This project will focus on the journey of an artist as they delve into capturing the essence of nature, highlighting the transformative power of touch in this artistic exploration.
The core component of the device is a sheet of paper, onto which animations, activated by user interaction, will be projected. These animations are triggered by a sensor located on the wing of a butterfly model.
We will use two FSR sensors, respectively installed on the wings of the two butterflies of the device. The audience can trigger the set video playback by touching or pinching a butterfly's wings.
Each butterfly can be triggered individually, or the two butterflies' sensors can be triggered simultaneously.
